Pest Control: Exquisite Sampler No. 3

Exquisite Noise Sampler No. 3

Greetings, friends and neighbors. The time is here again to get excited about our (thus far) yearly enterprise, that of the label-wide sampler. Originally concocted in 2011, this year’s batch, Pest Control, features some returnees from previous sets (Ohio alt-country rockers The Judas Cow, modern folk by Las Vegas’s Val Barin, Zayed Hassan’s amazing world music all the way from Bangladesh), and a number of exciting newcomers (Kentucky rapper Lost Cause, lo-fi alternative/punk/grunge revisited/whatever trio Pinko, Mysta Paqk’s superb reggae from Jamaica by way of Texas, polished hiphop by Bing, more muckraking mayhem courtesy of Kyle Ketsdever, as well as a classic rock guy dating back to the 70’s, Bill Kimes). Special thanks must go out to Wedlock, Goofy Guys, The Get-A-Way Band and FM Creeps, who’ve supplied tracks for every compilation to date. Anyway, here’s the rundown:
